Michelle Maltese, DDS

After graduating from Notre Dame Preparatory High School, Dr. Maltese obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Detroit Mercy as part of their 7 year Accelerated Dental Program. She continued her pursuit to become a dentist by graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, gaining profound clinical experience working complex cases in the city of Detroit.

Dr. Maltese takes pride in getting to know each patient and treating them like they are her own family. She has completed numerous hours of continuing education courses to ensure that she is treating patients with the most advanced and current level of care, including techniques, materials, and technology within the field.

Her most recent studies include Cerec digital dentistry, Invisalign clear aligner therapy, and dental treatments for sleep apnea. She is laser certified and is an active Invisalign Provider. Her favorite treatments to perform include cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures.

Coming from a family with a strong health-care background and a tradition of community service, she looks forward to serving and giving back to this community.  Dr. Maltese is certified by the North East Regional Boards, and holds active memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA) , Michigan Dental Association (MDA), American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), Macomb County Dental Society, and the Oakland County Dental Society. This past year, she began interviewing for the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry as part of its admissions interview committee. It has been a rewarding process getting to converse with future dentists, helping her connect with current thinking and approaches, both in dentistry, and life in general. Dr. Maltese has been in private practice in Rochester and Shelby Township since her graduation.

Currently, she resides in Macomb Township with her husband Chris, her daughter Alena, and her son Lorenzo. Dr. Maltese and her family also have a rescued dog named Scarlet. When not in the office, Dr. Maltese enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and staying active.
